Does Gardeaux Wigs accept payment plans?

We are sorry but we don't offer payment plans at this time. We do accept PayPal and they offer a payment plan you can apply for as an option.

Can you hold a wig I am interested in? 

I am sorry we do not hold Ready to Ship Wigs. 

 Can I come into your salon for a consultation?

We are sorry but we are an online store only. You can email us at gardeauxwigs@gmail.com, or call us at 737-747-8887 if you have any questions at all about our products or services.  How do I know what size wig I wear?

When I click on the Youtube link for the wig I like it doesn't work. Is this wig still available?

If the link does not work then that wig has sold. All of our available wigs are on our site.

 Do you take custom orders?

No, I am sorry we do not take custom orders. Please do email us and let us know what you are looking for and we will put your request on our customer wish list
Is my wig covered by insurance?

Do call your insurance company and ask them about a "cranial prosthesis". We are happy to work with your insurance company by creating an invoice for reimbursement.

 I am concerned about someone seeing the shipping package and knowing I purchased a wig. Do you have advertising on your shipping box?

Our labels and shipping boxes do not have any information about what is inside. The return label says " Gardeaux" The only exception is for our international shipping labels that must declare the contents of the box. 

 Can I color my wig?

You can color human hair wigs. But it is a tricky process that should be handled by a hair professional only. We recommend only going darker, not lighter - there is a lot of chemical processing involved in the making of a wig and additional manipulation can cause damage.

Can I curl or straighten my wig? 

Yes, You can curl or straighten your human hair wig.

 How do I care for my new wig?

• You want to wash your Garden human hair wig as little as possible to extend the life and color of the wig.
• When you do wash the wig wash it with a quality no sulfate shampoo. We Use Redken Frizz Dismiss Shampoo and Conditioner. There are also shampoos and conditioner made especially for wig care. You can find shampoos and conditioners https://www.gardeauxwigs.com/collections/all/shampoo. Gently wash and rinse the wig. Never soak your wig! Place the wet wig in a towel and press to remove excess water. IT is 
• To reduce the damage caused by heat drying, hang your wig on a wig stand and place in front of a fan on low. Your wig may look wavy and somewhat fuzzy when dry.
• Use a hot curling iron or flat iron to style your wig.

What kind of hair is used in a Gardeaux Wig? 

Our Gardeaux Wigs Silk top and Full Lace wigs are made from hand tied Remy Brazilian hair. There are other brands on our site which have been customized such as IWIGs that are made from European hair. 

How long will my human hair wig last?

While it is impossible to determine the true life of a wig due to differences in life styles and care, the type of hair can make a difference. Typically virgin European Hair, worn daily,  will last the longest , often up to 8 months to a year.  Brazilian hair worn every day can last 4-6 months depending again on care, color,  and lifestyle. 

I see color in the water when I wash my wig? Is this normal? 

It is normal to see color in the water with a Gardeaux Wig. It will not all wash out.

I have heard that blonde wigs are delicate. Is that true? 

The blonder the wig the more processed it is. The true platinums are the most delicate due to heavy processing and can have a shorter life cycle depending on lifestyle and care. 

What are my shipping options for a Gardeaux Wig order?

If you choose our standard shipping, we send it USPS priority mail. We require a signature when the package is delivered. If you do not want to sign for it let us know, however it is your responsibility if it is stolen from your home after delivery.

It takes 2-3 days in the U.S. for delivery typically. Currently due to the pandemic and failures of companies to ship on time we are not offering overnight FEDEX shipping as an option. For international shipping we have the option of shipping DHL and FEDEX International. They take between  3-7 days depending on the location and option you choose. 

What if the wig is not the right color or size for me?
